The Metropolitan Golf Association now offers two different digital advertising solutions for advertisers seeking ways to reach its 140,000 upscale avid-core golfers electronically. The association's website, mgagolf.org, and its bi-weekly "e-Revision Newsletters" allow advertisers the two best ways to reach New York Metro-based golfers through interactive formats.
MGAGOLF.ORG:
- Traffic: mgagolf.org enjoys an average of nearly 300,000 page views per month. Live scoring for various MGA championships has drawn thousands of visitors, as exemplified by the more than 100,000 people who visited the site during the final two rounds of the Met Open in 2009.
- Content: mgagolf.org is the largest and most comprehensive website among state and regional golf associations. Created in 1997, it has become, along with The Met Golfer magazine, a key resource for Met Area golfers to maintain contact with the MGA. The website has evolved into the online center of golf in the Met Area and features online tournament and handicap information, results from MGA, and all local championships, as well as stories of interest, a complete overview of MGA services and special offers from the MGA's corporate partners for MGA members.
- Advertising: mgagolf.org can accept up to eight (8) banner ads. Banner ads will rotate on the home page and link back to the advertiser's website.
- Frequency: Each banner ad will appear on mgagolf.org for two weeks.
MGA E-REVISION NEWSLETTERS:
- Audience: The MGA e-Revision Newsletter is delivered to more than 60,000 members who have opted into this bi-weekly handicap update service. The e-Revisions enjoy a nearly 70 percent open rate.
- Content: The MGA e-Revision Newsletter features association news, promotes upcoming events and includes each recipient's individual MGA/USGA Handicap Index update from the GHIN service, based on their most recent posted scores.
- Advertising: Each MGA e-Revision Newsletter can accept up to eight (8) advertising banners.
- Advertising: Each MGA e-Revision Newsletter can accept up to eight (8) banner ads.
- Banner ads will run down the right column of the newsletter and will link to the advertiser's website or landing page.
- Frequency: MGA e-Revision Newsletters are sent out bi-weekly.

- Due to limited advertising supply, advertisers may purchase a maximum of six banners per calendar year including both mgagolf.org and e-Revision Newsletter banner ads. All advertising and links must be approved by the MGA and paid in advance, and be accompanied by a signed MGA insertion order.
- All mgagolf.org banner ads are sold in two-week flights.
- Each e-Revision Newsletter is distributed once every two weeks.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Banner ad size is 300 pixels (wide) x 115 pixels (high) and should be submitted as a static JPEG file with a maximum file size of 75k.
